PDP Concept Maple Series 5-Piece Drum Shell Pack (Satin Charcoal Burst, Lacquer)

The PDP 5-Piece Concept Maple Drum Shell Pack is designed with research assistance from the DW Custom Shop. With detailed features like pure maple shells, a suspension tom mount system, and True-Pitch tension rods, these drums provide a great resonant sound that's perfect for any drummer from beginner to professional.

Pure Maple Shells
The most popular wood for drum making, maple is a hardwood that produces maximum resonance, projection, and attack - well suited for live and studio applications.

7-ply Tom/Kick Shells

10-ply Snare Shells

Suspension Tom Mount System (STM):
The rack toms utilize DW's advanced Suspension Tom Mounts (STMs) The STM system allows drums to vibrate freely, allowing maximum resonance while securely holding the drum in place. Because there are no washers or grommets inhibiting the lug rod receiver, choking is reduced and tuning is as easy as ever.

True-Pitch Tension Rods
To give drummers even more control over their sound, DW created its patented True-Pitch rod system. The rods feature 5mm threads rather than the 12/24 that's standard on most other drums. To compare, there is 1 thread every 0.8mm on the True-Pitch rods (about 20% more threads), versus 1 thread every 1.05mm on most other drums. The result is a more exacting tuning process.

Configuration:

18" x 22" Bass Drum

8" x 10" Tom

9" x 12" Tom

14" x 16" Floor Tom

5.5" x 14" Snare Drum

Features:

7-Ply Pure Maple Shells on Toms and Bass Drum

10-Ply Pure Maple Shell on Snare Drum

(STM) Suspension Tom Mounts

True-Pitch Tuning Rods

MAG Snare Drum Throw-Off

Remo Drum Heads

Cymbals and Hardware Not Included

Get your PDP Concept Maple 5-Piece Shell Pack today at the guaranteed lowest price from Sam Ash with our 45-day return and 60-day price protection policy. {{widget type="Magento\Cms\Block\Widget\Block" template="widget/static_block/default.phtml" block_id="1502" type_name="CMS Static Block"}}
