The Ibanez BTB Boutique Bass is a high-spec bass that also possesses expressive capabilities that stimulate the player's senses. Like the SR series, it is one of Ibanez's most iconic and historic basses. The deep cutaway shape and neck-through construction provide excellent playability and sustain, while the carefully selected tonewoods and independent string bridge construction promise a look and rich tone that embodies the name "Boutique."

■ 5-piece maple and walnut neck (equipped with graphite reinforcement rod)
This 5-piece neck combines maple, known for its clear sound and rich attack, with hard walnut. A graphite rod is installed inside the neck to enhance its rigidity. The back of the neck is colored to match the body.

■ Rosewood fingerboard (with medium stainless steel frets)
This guitar features rosewood, the most popular material for fingerboards, known for its well-balanced sound. The frets are stainless steel, offering a bright tone and high durability.

■The neck-through construction, the long sustain and rich resonance provided by the laminated wing body construction of poplar burl/okoume/ash wood, and the seamless playing feel of the neck back are the greatest features of the BTB. The top is made of poplar burl wood, each with its own unique character, and the wing body is made by laminating okoume wood and ash wood together.

■ Nordstrand Big Single Pickups: Equipped with Nordstrand Big Single pickups, which feature the clarity and powerful, aggressive sound characteristic of single-coil pickups.

■Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ w/EQ bypass switch & Mid frequency\ switch
This equalizer produces a wide-range, low-noise active sound. A switch allows you to select the mid-range frequency band—essential for bass sound—between 250Hz, 450Hz, and 700Hz. Furthermore, it features an EQ bypass switch, allowing it to be used as a passive bass. (When bypassed: Tone control is via the Treble knob.)

■ The MR5S bridge features an MR5S (monorail) bridge with a string spacing adjustment mechanism. Each string has an independent bridge, directly transmitting string vibrations to the body. In addition, the saddle can be moved ±1.5mm in the left and right directions, allowing you to adjust the space between strings (string spacing) as you like within the movable range.
