Updated for 2026! The MTD Kingston Z is the flagship model of the Kingston line and takes many of its design cues from MTD Handmade USA basses.
This Kingston Z6 features an alder body, roasted maple neck, ebony fingerboard, active electronics, MTD Soapbar pickups, and a 35" scale length for tight low-end response. The asymmetrical neck and compound 10"-14" fingerboard radius provide comfortable, fatigue-free playability, while the Buzz Feiten Tuning System helps deliver precise intonation up and down the neck.
Like all MTD Kingston instruments, the Z6 undergoes a rigorous quality control and setup process in Kingston, NY by master technicians. The top-loading MTD Quick Release bridge makes string changes fast and easy, while Licensed Hipshot Ultralite tuners provide tuning stability without unnecessary neck dive.
