The SD18 is a warm sounding guitar. The middle and bass registers are prominent and for strumming or flat-picking this guitar is fantastic. The sound box is alive and therefore the guitar is responsive and playing it is a lot of fun. Traditional components such as a real bone nut and saddle, mahogany neck with a dovetail joint and rosewood bridge and fingerboard add to its tonal capabilities and overall quality, and cosmetically it’s a true classic with tortoiseshell binding and pickguard.
