The SR606E 6-string electric bass guitar from Ibanez offers a modern alternative to traditional bass sound at an affordable price. Featuring a 5-piece jatoba/walnut neck for tonal clarity and superior attack, a rosewood fretboard for a focused midrange and an ash body, the SR606E bass imbues an exotic appearance, comfortable playability and rich sustain. Nordstrand Big Break pickups cram a meaty split coil into a soapbar-style pickup, producing a full-bodied, aggressive tone while still retaining the clarity that is characteristic of single-coil tone with noiseless performance. Full sonic control is at your fingertips with the Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ, a refinement on the concept of simple, straightforward, no-nonsense EQ control. Plus, the Boost and Cut for the Mid Control are each centered on slightly different frequencies, an innovation that delivers a preset range of the most favorable bass tones.
