From Monkey Riot:

The retroFUZZ channels the raw, untamed spirit of ‘60s fuzz, drawing its DNA from the legendary Rush Pepbox and pushing it further into new sonic territory. This 2-transistor silicon circuit delivers explosive, harmonically rich fuzz with dynamic responsiveness that cleans up beautifully with your guitar’s volume knob—just like the classics.

But retroFUZZ doesn’t stop at vintage tones. The addition of Tone and Bias controls lets you sculpt your sound with precision. The Bias knob adjusts the voltage to the second transistor, shifting the fuzz from smooth and creamy to gated, sputtery chaos. The Tone control helps you dial in the perfect frequency balance, from woolly warmth to biting treble snarl.

Under the hood, the PCB pays homage to old-school designs with curved traces, teardrop pads, and exposed signal paths—a true nod to the golden era of fuzz.

Controls:

• Volume: Adjusts the overall output level
• Fuzz: From subtle grit to full-on sonic assault
• Bias: Alters transistor voltage for character shifts—smooth, gated, or glitchy
• Tone: Shapes the high-end presence, cutting lows as you turn it up

Features:

• Polished aluminum 125B enclosure with bold silkscreened graphics
• Vintage-inspired PCB layout with classic aesthetics
• True bypass switching for pure signal clarity
• Top-mounted jacks for easy pedalboard integration
• Requires 9V center-negative power supply (no battery option)

The retroFUZZ isn’t just another vintage reissue—it’s a love letter to the past, reimagined for modern players who crave classic fuzz with extra attitude. Plug in, crank it up, and let the retro roar.
