This is a rare original 1960s vintage Goya model s-2 panther electric 6 string. Serial number on the neck plate is: 2451. The guitar body has the tobacco brown finish in the slowly fades to black around the sides. The pick guard has the faux wood grain finish with white & black edge contrasts. It has a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Correct original goya machine tuners. The guitar is all original, no refinishing or modifications with the exception of the volume and tone knobs. Missing the original tremelo / whammy bar.
The guitar plays well, has a warm mellow tone. The body and neck is not warped, broken or repaired. The body finish has some scratches and dings here and there and the original finish has some age checking. All of push button pickup selectors work. The volume and tone pots turn smoothly. All tuners are rock solid and turn smooth; one is slightly bent but works fine. The neck is straight and very playable with low action. Nothing on the guitar is loose, or repaired.
