Vintage Airline Barney Kessel Swingmaster Natural 1960's

A hot ticket item & true vintage beauty featuring a trio of "Kleenex box" pickups loaded into a beautiful natural finish maple body. Fully inspected & set up with fresh strings & low action, so it's ready to perform straight out of the case.

Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for its age with only some mild play wear - various tiny nicks, dents & dings; surface scratches & weather checking. The celluloid pickguard has "gased" out a bit, but it's still all there. Overall the guitar looks really nice & shows off a beautiful patina.

Neck: Soft V-shaped maple neck with nicely aged cream binding. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl shield inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe strip tuners with cream buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 26" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body: Double Florentine cutaway, hollow maple body with single F-hole. Bound top & back with celluloid pickguard. Trapeze tailpiece with adjustable, floating rosewood bridge. The original pickguard was beginning to deteriorate a bit so we made a new one, but the original is included. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 2.9 oz.

Electronics: Three "Kleenex box" single coils with 3-way selector switch. Volume & tone controls for each pickup with clear "top hat" knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
