Premier Genista birch - original 1990s UK-made tom
Premier’s 90s era was a highlight in their long history, and the Genista birch series competes favorably with other birch offerings from Yamaha, Sonor, and others. Supposedly, they only offered this 8” add-on tom in 8” depth, however you can see in the photo that the total depth with the hoops is under 8. The shell itself measures right at 7.5 as far as I can tell.
This drum is in excellent condition with no marks in the finish and almost no scratches or marring of the chrome. The suspension mount is not Premier, but RIMS brand. The mount is unbranded and uncertain, but I do have an original Premier mount to include with the drum. The batter side head is a new clear Remo Ambassador, the resonant side is a factory Premier head.
