1995 Alembic Elan 5 String Electric Bass Wineburst !

Pristine Auctions is proud to present this 1995 Alembic Elan in Wineburst which is simply loaded to the gill with options.  This instrument features 5 Pc Neck-Thru Construction with a Maple body and Neck and Purple Heart Laminates, a Stunning Quilted Maple Top, a quilted Maple back of the Headstock with Purple Heart Laminates once again.   This is truly an incredible instrument in every way.  As with every Alembic we get in the shop, we always call the fine folks at Alembic and get the build details.  As it turns out, this one was sent back to Alembic to be refinished in Wineburst. Also an Alembic Fatboy pickup was added to the bridge to increase the output and clarity of the instrument.  As you can see this is one serious Alembic Elan with a replacement value of 19K on this discontinued model.  This is one awesome example of an older Alembic. She is in Excellent condition for a 30 year old instrument.  There are a few tiny marks and dings but it is very clean.   She was just given a professional set up with Ken Smith Medium Light Taper Core Strings.  . This bass plays effortless up and down the neck with  low action. The sound is crystal clear, and is definitely one of the cleanest and clearest sounding basses we have ever had here.   Will ship fully insured and professionally packed in its factory issued Hard Shell Case.
