About This Listing

Offered for sale, a rare and wonderful acoustic archtop from German maker Boris Dommenget. It’s possible this is the only, or one of few D’aquisto Solo tributes from this maker, who has developed a wide reputation in luthiery.

This guitar has two sets of macassar ebony hardware, one set being original and one being a set made to accommodate a floating Kent Armstrong pickup. On the guitar currently, only the tailpiece is non-original, with the original included. All pieces from the second set are also included with the sale, comprised of a truss rod cover, a saddle, and pick guard assembly with the floating KA pickup.

Masterfully carved arches in the top and back. It has a nice acoustic voice that responds well to a pick and fingerstyle. It is in excellent shape especially considering its age and includes a premium Cedar Creek arched top case. Tuners are Kluson.

There are not a lot of archtops available out there modeled off the D’Aquisto Solo, especially handcarved from all solid woods.

Thanks for looking, any questions please feel free.

I’m open to trade and layaway proposals.
