Fat Hats are a true labor of love: a decade of testing has resulted in a rich, blended hi-hat sound that performs well in the studio and commands attention on stage.

The key to this success lies in the combination of the A Zildjian's razing and the K Zildjian's dark hammering, as well as the slight weight difference between the top and bottom. This hi-hat, a fusion of the A and K cymbals, is easy to incorporate into any cymbal setup, and even when played as is, it offers the perfect blend of warmth and brightness. The 14-1/8 features a great stick sound, while the 15-1/8 features a rich sound with a distinct chick sound. Both sizes will bring something special to any gig.

Artist-approved, the Fat Hat is sure to transform your kit.
