A more smooth, gentle and civilised sounding take on your ProCo RAT and alikes! 🧐
Made famous by the likes of Joe Perry (Aerosmith) and Bono (U2), this circuit uses an LM308 Dual Opamp and a discrete passive silicon diode clipping stage that gives it a distinctive "cutting-through-the-mix" nasal distortion focus similar to a pre-set type voice of your favorite Wah!  🔊

Sleek compression and rich harmonic overtones married together with a fat bottom end provide a smooth and transparent transition from clean to overload states, making so that orgasmic feedback is possible even at the weakest amplifier volume settings!
It also cleans up with your guitar volume knob phenomenally, so a vintage-wound Single Coil pickups or PAF-style Humbucker response it giveth is extra sweet and creamy!
Roars good on chords and doesn't get too mushy even on the highest gain setting with the amazing amount of sustain available. All those features have made this legendary effect popular in the recording studios all over the globe, both in traditional Rock and most extreme Metal subgenres! 👍

Volume - sets the output Level of the effect, should be self-explanatory...
Fuzz - is your tried and true Gain control, gets you everywhere from mild Crunch to a furious blazing Fuzzstortion! 🔥
