Futile Art FX 🛠️ Working Class Overdrive

The clone of OG 1990's Big-box Menatone Blue Collar Overdrive.

Based on a very early version of the circuit! (All versions sound pretty similar, but the oldest version was a bit darker and more pleasant to my ears...)
Think like a more dynamic Tube Screamer, but with more bottom.

And as they said, fat bottomed circuits make the rocking world go 'round... 😉
Because FAT may be the best word to describe this pedal! No wonder original pedal even has a graphic of the "Fatso" on the front!

The Blue Collar is like a compressed, midrangey, evil-twin brother to the very open sounding Red Snapper. It's everything it used to be and more!
Absolutely brilliant on a Strat or with P90s! Creamy and liquid, with greasy undertones.

Smooth singing Blues-overdrive, that just seems to sit in the mix without any fuss.
Offers plenty of gain ranging from just above clean to a beautiful, full grind with great harmonics and sustain, but always has a nice complexity and clarity to it. The slight mid-bump is right where you would want it. Yet there's no TS-808 mid-honk here... The Tone Control has been modified to work over the entire range of the pot, instead of being bunched at the ends!

Additional Presence control (missing on the newer versions) lets you dial in just the right amount of edge, so you can sound thick as a brick, but, still cut through the band.

Controls are:
Vol. (Volume) - sets the output Level of an effect, should be self explanatory...
Gain - changes amount of Drive, ranging from mild to moderate Distortion.
Tone - your classic TS-style tone control: Bassier to the left, Treblier to the right...
Pres. (Presence) - affects how Pronounced all that effect is!
