This is a beautiful bass, with a swamp ash body and maple neck and fingerboard. I bought it brand new in 2001 and gigged with it many times over the following 15 years, so it has a natural bit of wear and tear for its age, but overall it's in excellent condition.
This is an original made in California, not a budget or tribute model.
It's really versatile, with active electronics and two humbuckers. The three-way switch lets you toggle between pickups, giving a load of different tone options.
It has a comfortable C-shaped neck (9 1/2 in radius) and a generous 21 medium jumbo frets. The bass weighs roughly 4.4kg or 9.7lb (I'd recommend a wide, comfy strap!). Hard case included.
