About This Listing

Make me a reasonable offer!!

This is a 1987 G & L L-2000. It has been professionally cleaned and checked by an expert guitar tech at Bennett Guitar Company. The Receipt will accompany the instrument.

It plays great and sounds even better. The pickups are active when the pre-amp is switched on - passive when off. The active mode works to boost the bass response and tones.

Here is a run down of the switches:
The leftmost (neck side) toggle switch is pickup selector (neck PU, both, Bridge PU).
The middle one is Serial/Parallel selection for the pups. The one on the bridge side is Preamp with Treble Boost, Preamp On, Preamp Off.

This is truly a player’s instrument. It’s real hard to put it down once you start playing.

The only anomaly in electronics is the middle potentiometer ”feels” rough when rotated. This has no affect on the functionality. There is a small chip in the finish on the top-side near the top horn.

All this being said - it is a 34 year old instrument. There is no guarantee that something won’t stop working or break in the future. AT THIS POINT IN TIME IT WORKS PERFECTLY. Includes Gator semi soft/hard case.

I have a high rating on Reverb because I sell quality merchandise. You won’t be sorry you bought this beautiful instrument.
