About This Listing

Classic Tele, can't be beat!

This is a 1991 MIM Fender Telecaster. It is well played, with a nice patina, but functionally completely intact. Functionally, this thing is a good player. Classic '60s style Tele tone, a little fatter, but still plenty twangy.

This one is in on consignment from my largest consignor, let's call him Rambo, as he prefers to remain anon. Rambo is a local collector and audio engineer / producer. I think I currently have about 20 of his guitars on consignment; and he keeps bringing more in every week. It is all good stuff so I have trouble saying "no" to Rambo -- also he is a pretty competent tech; so his gear is well maintained. Like all my consignments, this one is being sold "as described" regardless of condition.

As always, I cleaned it up, polished the finish, flushed the electronics, changed the strings and set the action low and smooth. This one doesn't have a case or gig bag. I pack my guitars up tight and insure every package for the full purchase amount.

Got questions? Shoot me a message, I love nerding out with other gearheads!

Product Overview
The Fender Standard Telecaster is based on one of the most popular guitar models of all time. So what's the difference between guitars from Corona, CA and Ensenada, Mexico? Is it simply the 180 miles that separate the two factories? Think what you may, but the Tele has always been a workhorse, and the made-in-Mexico Fender Standard Telecaster is the epitome of a workhorse guitar: simple, effective, affordable. Take it as is or use it as a platform for modding. New pups and a Bigsby, anyone?
