The Fender Standard Telecaster is based on one of the most popular guitar models of all time. So what's the difference between guitars from Corona, CA and Ensenada, Mexico? Is it simply the 180 miles that separate the two factories? Think what you may, but the Tele has always been a workhorse, and the made-in-Mexico Fender Standard Telecaster is the epitome of a workhorse guitar: simple, effective, affordable. Take it as is or use it as a platform for modding. New pups and a Bigsby, anyone?

This is a MIM Telecaster. It looks and sounds fantastic. My friend has an American Telecaster and anyone would be hard pushed to spot the difference. We did a couple of blind tests with friends and it was 50/50 for preference of sound, just what I would expect. I prefer mine, he prefers his. Overal…

This is a great guitar. People bad mouth the made in mexico stuff, but honestly it is great. Even the Chinese made classic vibe stuff is great. I like the scale length and the tones. Honestly with the right setup and a decent amp you can get any tone your looking for. The Fender neck is so smooth and easy to play. Buy one now and enjoy.

Guitar has beautiful birds eye neck. Excellent guitar for the money. Once I replaced the switch/volume/tone controls w/USA made & did set up. IMO it's as good as any of the MIA Tele's I've had in the pass.

I had three previous Fender electric guitars before buying this one. Two MIM Stratocasters and one MIM thinline telecaster. All of those guitars were very good. This one, well not so good. My eyes aren't what they used to be - I'm older and all the years on computers haven't been so kind to the…

Bought a Telecaster that I’m very happy to have purchased. Look and feel are great. Will be using as a studio / recording guitar for sure. After getting a guitar tech to look it over, we found The tronical tuner was completely shot and needed to be replaced. I was refunded $150 thankfully to get the new tuners and for the guitar tech to set it up.
