Hallmark Sweptwing instruments are some of the rarest ever made in the USA. These were built by Joe Hall (who worked with Semie Mosely) in 1966. As rare as the guitars are, the basses are even more scarce, with less than 10 ever made. This example was originally a 2-pickup model, and at some point was converted to a single pickup model with a newer pickguard. The original pickguard with 2 pickup routes in included but it is in very rough shape and probably not usable, and the other pickup is long gone. The remaining pickup is original. This bass is in excellent playing condition and sounds great. It weighs 7 pounds 4.4 ounces and comes with a non original case.
