1969 Tempro “MIJ (made in Japan)” 4 piece set, in good condition. Sizes are 12x8, 16x16, 20x14, and 5.5x14. This set features luan mahogany shells. All the parts are original and the wrap and chrome are both in great shape. The two toms are both missing the Tempro badge, but the snare and bass drum have them. The original cymbal arm and tom holder are included. There is a section of cracked wrap coming up on the underside of the bass drum. These MIJ drums are quite underrated, and can sound pretty great with the right combination of tuning and heads. They have a dry, warm, round, tubby tone and speak quickily. Excellent for recording or motown/soul/vintage applications.
