Beatles and John Lennon collectors, don't miss out on this one! A 2007 Custom Shop John Lennon Les Paul Junior, this one being number 133 of only 300. The guitar began its life as a Junior that Lennon had taken to Long Island luthier Ron DeMarino for modifications that included a conversion to a two-pickup guitar with the Charlie Christian neck pickup and an ABR-1 bridge. The Gibson Custom Shop replicated the original guitar perfectly, recreating wear patterns and the cherry red finish which the guitar was eventually refinished to after the sunburst was sanded away. It includes the original hardshell case and Custom Shop paperwork - however no COA. Lastly, the neck pickup in this guitar has an incredibly weak output to only 2 ohms - we are keeping the originality intact and up to the next owner to change should they want to!
