Overview
Starting in 1954, Gibson offered players a simple, affordable take on the Les Paul dubbed the Les Paul Junior. In his post-Beatles career, John Lennon frequently used a modified Les Paul Junior with an added Charlie Christiran-style pickup in the front position. In 2007, Gibson built a limited run of 300 replicas of Lennon's Les Paul Junior. Originally, these guitars shipped with a certificate, book, and iconic Lennon New York T-shirt.
