This presentation banjo is an absolute gem tonally, and esthetically. Following a solo career, Luthier Bob Zink worked for many years for Taylor guitars. His banjos are almost impossible to find because no one would want to sell one. He was a top-notch banjo Luthier and later became a world-class guitar Luthier. The headstock and fingerboard inlays are fire station themed and this banjo was obviously made for a fire fighter.
The old-growth Brazilian Rosewood used to create this banjo is almost impossible to find in thicknesses to make a neck and resonator. The cost would be prohibitive (more than I’m asking for the banjo itself.)
Top-of-the-line Crossrock case included.
