Original vintage Burns Baldwin 706-V electric hollow body in gorgeous playing condition. These are awesome axes, analogous to the USA Gibson es-335, and Fender Coronado II, with lots of cool early Baldwin era Gretsch appointments; zero fret, custom filtertron style humbuckers, roller bridge, and van Ghent tuning machines. One of the last great, under-the-radar 1960’s values.
She plays beautifully, very gretschy, with arrow straight neck, perfect action, and excellent tuning stability, even with vigorous surfing on the vibrato. The burns filtertron mini hums are hot and detailed, and she can produce awesome controlled feedback with a cranked tube amp.
Cosmetically, she’s very nice as well, with lots of natural finish and play wear, all deserved, real mojo, and patina. She ships in the hard case pictured. Enjoy!
