Duplex 1920’s/30’s Aluminum Snare Drum:
• Manufactured in St. Louis, MO.
• 16” x 6” (7 3/8” overall)
• Aluminum shell with rosewood finish hoops.
• 10 single lugs with 20 tension rods.
• 12 strand leather cord snare wires.
• Snare strainer works perfect.
• Calf skin heads on top & bottom (no holes or tears).
• Batter side drum head has stain on one edge (see pic).
• Small pencil eraser size to dime size dings are prevalent on aluminum shell (tried to show in pics).
• Small corrosion spots on aluminum shell, most prevalent on side with marching strap eye hook (see pic).
• Reinforcement wood ring on inside of aluminum shell, as seen through badge air hole (see pic).
• Small scratches/scuffs are prevalent throughout the external aluminum shell.
• Badge mounted on top hoop has completely faded.
