This is a special drum! The stamp inside tells us that it was manufactured in October of 1958!
The drum is in great condition and I've put modern Remo drum heads on it and modern pure sound snare wires. I've put some gaff tape on the top drum head to help control some overtones.
When I got it the top hoop was damaged beyond repair so I ordered a new Gibraltar 3 mm triple flanged hoop. That hoop is on the drum now.
There is a Ludwig throw off installed.
And there are two small holes on the front of the drum where some type of hardware must have been removed at some point in its life.
