Ernie Ball Earthwood strings use 80% copper and 20% zinc wire wrapped around a hex-shaped brass-plated steel core. This proven construction produces a crisp, ringing acoustic sound with pleasing overtones and plenty of definition.

Easy-Playing 10-50 Gauge

The 10-50 Extra Light gauge reduces string tension compared with heavier acoustic sets, making fretting, bending and extended playing sessions more comfortable. It's a particularly useful option for electric guitarists transitioning to acoustic, players who prefer a softer touch, or anyone who finds traditional acoustic string gauges heavier than they'd like.
