Rare 1994 Rickenbacker 4003/S 5 String Bass Left Handed Lefty with Original Case

We're offering this extremely rare 1994 Rickenbacker 4003/S 5 String Bass left handed model in the also rare Turquoise finish. In researching the web I found only four that ever showed up in Google and Dogpile searches - three Mapleglo(natural), one Fireglo, and one Jetglo(black) - three of these(1 of each color) were in one left-handed person's private collection - the other Mapleglo example was on Reverb(twice) about 4 years ago and sold with an asking price of $3,350. This one makes 5 and could possibly be the only one ever in Turquoise finish and apparently the ony Rickenbacker 4003/S 5 String Bass lefty for sale anywhere at the moment.

Has all the expected Rick features - neck through body construction, Toaster top neck pickup, bridge pickup with the original cover, and a thick Rosewood fretboard with dot inlays. The serial number dates it September 1994. This fully original 25 year old instrument is in exceptionally fine condition with only a few tiny scratches keeping me from calling it near mint. The frets are in great shape and both truss rods and all the electronics function properly. Come with the original silver Rickenbacker case with some scuffs but in good solid shape, along with the original Rickenbacker guitar & bass owners manual, hang tag, and Rickenbacker polishing cloth.
