The East Stroudsberg era is arguably the heyday of Bob Benedetto's guitar-making. 1991 was a particularly excellent year. Bob's craft was masterful. I visited his workshop in August 1990. It was crammed full, dozens of instruments hanging from the ceiling in every stage of completion. I could feel it wouldn't be too long until he was backed-up for years, priced out of my league, retired , or all three. So I threw down $1000 and joined the line. So smart! This instrument is drop-dead gorgeous in every way. A true thoroughbred. After 27 years, it's mellowing like a fine cello. Seems I'm done with Jazz so I'm looking to pass her to someone who will play her every day. inside label is signed "Robert Benedetto" serial no. 24391 all original correspondence and documents of provenance are included as is the original hard shell case. best daniel
