Robert Benedetto has been building world class archtop guitars since 1969, and has outlasted the majority of competition to become one of the most recognizable archtop builders of all time. This 7 string archtop, designed in direct coalition with legendary jazz guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli, utilizes a low A 7th string, something Bucky was famed for both popularizing and mastering. We currently have the low string tuned to B to be more familiar to most players.

This guitar features a 16" bout, with spruce top, maple back, sides and neck, and ebony appointments. It has a 21 fret, 25 inch scale length, and a warm, punchy hand wound Kent Armstrong humbucker. This guitar is in great condition, although it has previously had a neck reset.

Serial #S 1741 Comes with the original case.
