The Fender American Professional Telecaster Maple in 3-Color Sunburst marks a fresh chapter in Fender's modern professional lineup. You've seen the original American Professional, the American Professional II, and the American Professional Classic. This refreshed American Professional Series brings ta redesigned top-load/string-through bridge and compensated brass saddles for improved intonation and more flexible setup options. Fender also adds Series Mode switching for a thicker, higher-output sound beyond the familiar three-way Tele tones, while tighter-tolerance controls and treble bleed help keep the instrument clear and responsive at lower volume settings. With a maple fingerboard, V-Mod III Telecaster pickups, and classic 3-Color Sunburst styling, this version is built for players who want unmistakable Tele character with practical updates for regular gigging, recording, and session work.

The Deep "C" maple neck features rolled fingerboard edges, a 9.5" radius, and Fender's "Super-Natural" satin urethane finish for a smooth, comfortable feel. A sculpted neck heel improves access to the upper register, while 22 narrow tall frets provide a useful balance between traditional Fender response and modern bending comfort. V-Mod III Telecaster single-coils deliver the twang, snap, and bite players expect from a Tele, while ClassicGear Precision potentiometers are designed for smooth, consistent control.

The three-saddle bridge can be strung either through the body or from the top, giving players another way to fine-tune feel and string tension. ClassicGear compensated brass Bullet saddles improve intonation while retaining the simple, direct character of a traditional Tele bridge. Fender staggered sealed tuners, a bone nut, and Micro-Tilt neck adjustment round out a dependable setup for working musicians. We think this is a strong choice for players who want classic Tele tone with thoughtful refinements that make the guitar easier to live with every day.
