Bench Service & Technical Overhaul
The amplifier has received full professional bench maintenance designed for reliable performance:
• Electrolytic Capacitors: Fully recapped—all main filter capacitors, bias supply capacitor, and low-voltage cathode bypass electrolytics have been replaced with fresh, premium-grade components.
• Tubes & Biasing: Installed a factory-matched quad of JJ 6L6GC output tubes and a fresh JJ 12AT7 driver tube, followed by complete bias alignment and burn-in testing.
• Safety Update: Converted to a grounded modern three-prong power cable with safety ground tied directly to the chassis.
• Pots & Jacks: All potentiometers, input jacks, and tube sockets have been cleaned, tension-checked, and lubricated for noise-free sweep and solid contact.
Condition Note
The amplifier is in excellent vintage cosmetic and functional condition, displaying minimal wear consistent with studio or home use rather than heavy touring. The brushed aluminum Silverface control panel is exceptionally clean with bold lettering, crisp turquoise detailing, and no severe scratches or bends. The original black textured Tolex is fully intact with tight seams and only minor corner scuffs. The Silverface silver/blue sparkle grill cloth is tight and clean with no major tears or staining.
Tone & Operation: Both Normal and Vibrato channels operate with immense headroom, glassy top-end clarity, and firm low-frequency response. The tube-driven spring reverb is deep and lush, and the optocoupler tremolo/vibrato pulses cleanly across all speed and intensity ranges without noise or motorboating. The vintage Pyle Driver 12" speakers are in excellent working order, sounding great with clear articulation, solid bass response, and no cone rub or distortion.
Fully recapped, newly retubed with matched JJs, safety-grounded, bench-tested, equipped with casters, and ready for stage or studio use. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY, NO SHIPPING.
