Built as a semi-acoustic bass with vast amounts of sonic possibilities, the Godin A5 Ultra SA provides an excellent blend of acoustic & electric tone. Equipped with a simple yet effective low profile Lace Sensor pickup in the bridge, which is aptly balanced with Godin's Custom Saddle Transducers & Custom Preamp to create the perfect blend of acoustic & electric sound. The body is composed of a two-chamber Silver Leaf maple back with a solid spruce top, which gives it fantastic inherent tonal qualities. Paired with a comfortable, satin-finish, medium-profile rock maple neck, the bass plays effortlessly from the nut to the cutaway. In addition to the standard 1/4" jack, it also features a 13-pin connector for unhindered synth access for composing and performing. Professionally set up so it's ready to play upon arrival.

Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, dents & dings along with surface scratches, but really nice shape overall.

Neck: Hard rock maple neck with cream side-dots. 16" radius rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Open-gear "clover" tuners & double string trees. 2 1/8" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body: Two-chamber silver leaf maple body & solid spruce top with black binding. Rosewood bridge & end pins. Long black tugbar is pinned with a bit of adhesive. Bass weighs 10 lbs 7.2 oz.

Electronics: Low Profile Lace Sensor, Custom Godin Saddle Transducers with Custom Preamp. Side Mounted Volume and Tone Controls (Electric Pickup) Volume, Mid, Treble & Bass (Saddle Transducers). All electronics are in good working condition.

Case: Original hardshell case included.
