ROASTED MAPLE Series

Roasted maple is made from maple that has been heated at high temperatures to evaporate the moisture and oil in the wood, increasing its stiffness. When used in the neck, the effect is not only stable but also tonal, producing a rich, raw sound and a vintage, aged tone. This is a new range from Bacchus that brings this authentic specification, often used on high-end models, to a reasonable price point.

Open Maple Neck

This model features a distinctive roasted maple neck and fretboard. The texture and tone are vintage.

The degree of colour variation due to the roasting process and the grain of the maple may vary from model to model.

Easy-to-handle dinky-shape body model

This 5-string electric bass features a dinky-shaped body that is slightly slimmer than the full-size model. The body is made of Nato, which gives the instrument a well-balanced sound.

WOODLINE Series Standard Turbo Switch.

The turbo switch used on the higher-end Bacchus Handmade 'WOODLINE' series is also used on this model. Pulling up on the Tone Knob activates the Turbo Switch, connecting two single-coil pickups in series to create a fat humbucking pickup-like sound unlike any other.

When the turbo switch is on, the volume is controlled by the front Vol knob. The rear Vol knob is bypassed.
