This is a really nice Yamaha Red Label FG3 for anyone who likes a good old school acoustic without needing to go full vintage.
The solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides give it that classic mahogany dreadnought sound — warm and woody with plenty of punch when you dig in. The modified scalloped bracing also lets the guitar open up nicely without losing that familiar Yamaha character.
The neck has a comfortable feel, with an ebony fingerboard and a 25" scale that sits a little shorter than the typical dreadnought. The semi-gloss finish, open gear Gotoh tuners, and vintage-style Red Label headstock give it a cool understated look.
Overall, this is one of those guitars that feels pretty straightforward in the best way. Solid woods, great build quality, and a really good acoustic voice without a bunch of unnecessary stuff going on.
