PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Malletech Natural Rubber NR36B Extremely Hard Birch Xylo/Bell Mallets are also very useful on the many small bells, wood blocks and other idiophones of the percussion section. The Natural Rubber Series solves the two biggest problems most have players with rubber mallets: weight and tone. In the past, when players needed to switch to a harder model, they often found that the weight, and therefore the "meat" of the tone, was no longer present. After years of research we were able to find a way to keep the weight of the four models within one-tenth of an ounce of one another.

  • Handles: Birch
  • Core Type: 1 & 1/8" Black
  • Full Length: 16 & 3/4"
  • Diameter of Handles: 5/16"

I got these mallets back in 2019 (even back then - they were in new old stock condition). NOTE: I was planning to sell them sooner - but was kind of busy. Finally getting a chance to sell them now.

NOTE: In two separate Reverb listings I have these two other Malletech mallets: NR29B and OR45B.  Here're the REVERB links for them:

Back to info about the NR36B Mallets for sale in the listing that you are looking at now:

The mallets in unused condition MINT condition.

  • NOTE: See close up picture # 3 -- For one of the black rubber heads: The upper half is a duller shade of black than the lower half -- which has a slight sheen (slight gloss) - this is just the way that it was manufactured. For the other black rubber head - both halves are he same appearance slight sheen (slight gloss). Otherwise the heads have a few minor natural imperfections from how they were manufactured.
  • I don't see anything that really stands out to comment on about the handles.

The packaging is in between Very Good and Good shape (some people might say that the packaging is in VG shape).

PLASTIC PACKAGING:

  • Paper Part (in the first picture - the paperwork is folded and in pictures # 22 and # 23 - it is open). It has some visible creases and areas where there is unevenness. The lower areas of the paper has more unevenness / more creases than the other areas (caused by the heads). The upper areas of each page have a few vey small staple holes.
  • Plastic Baggie: It has as aged / yellowed a little bit. It has some visible imperfections: some cloudiness, some light cloudy surface residue inside the bag, some creases, some unevenness, some tiny & very small nicks, some tiny dot & very short dash impressions, some other impressions, and a couple of light surface scratches. And the upper area has a couple of small / tiny holes from where the staples used to be and from when the staples were taken off.

I took several pictures of the Malletech NR36B Mallets and there are some pictures of the packaging.

NOTE: There may be a few minor imperfections that I overlooked. There maybe a few minor imperfections that can be seen in person that do not appear in the pictures. Also - there are some imperfections (glares, reflections. dust specks) that show up in the pictures that are not that visible in person.
