====

I got these mallets back in 2019 (even back then - they were in new old stock condition). And in the same condition as they are in now.

NOTE: I was planning to sell them sooner- but was kind of busy. Finally getting a chance to sell them now. They were stored in a pet free / smoke free home environment.

  • In two separate Reverb listings (SEE list below in the description) I have two different pairs Innovative Percussion mallets: IP904 and IP906.

Back to info about the IP905 Mallets for sale in the listing that you are looking at now:

The mallets are in MINT condition. The wood handles are fine - but I just want to mention that the color / stain for one of the handles is a slightly different / slightly darker natural color than the other handle (really no big deal). The packaging is in between Very Good and Good shape. More details about the condition of the mallets and the packaging are further down below.

---

The rust colored balls are fine / clean. They are made of a hard material. I BELIEVE that the balls are made of acrylic (please correct me if I'm wrong).

The rattan handles are fine.

  • NOTE: As I mentioned above -- the stain / finish / wood color on one of the handles is very slightly different / very slightly darker than the other handle. This is how they were manufactured - I just wanted to point this out.
  • NOTE: The bottom side of both butt ends of the handles are bare wood - they have no satin poly finish/ This is how they were manufactured - I just wanted to point this out.

The logos on the handles are fine.

The packaging (paper part and the clear bag part) that has some visible wear and a little aging.

  • The paper part of the packaging is curved on some areas (it does not lay completely flat). The white color has aged a little and is now a slightly off white color.  It has some visible creases and some visible unevenness. The lower areas and upper areas have a little more wear / imperfections (mostly more unevenness & creases) than the main areas of the paper.. And the upper area has a few tiny hole from when the packaging was stapled.
  • The clear plastic baggie of the packaging has aged / yellowed a little bit. It has several creases, some very small / small dot impressions, some extremely light hair-line surface scratches. The top area has a couple of tiny holes from when the bag was stapled and the top edge has unevenness from how the bag was cut. Also the inside of the baggie has some surface cloudiness and some very light surface residue causing some of the cloudiness.

Below are links of the other mallets that I have listed on REVERB.

  • Please message me if you plan to purchase any of these mallets in addition to the Innovative Percussion Innovative Percussion IP905.

Here are links for the mallets (the last item are a pair of sticks) that I have listed:

I took several pictures of the IP905 mallets and there are a couple pictures of the packaging.

NOTE: There may be a few minor imperfections that I overlooked. There maybe a few minor imperfections that can be seen in person that do not appear in the pictures. Also - there are some imperfections (glares, reflections. dust specks) that show up in the pictures that are not that visible in person.
