This drum was used for a photoshoot at the DW factory and is completely unplayed.
In VLT™ shells, the outermost and innermost plies run vertically, rather than in the traditional horizontal configuration. The vertical grain reduces tension on a shell, allowing it to vibrate more freely for lower fundamental pitch!
