The Mapex AR628SFUVNR Armory Set Red Onyx Burst stands out with its unique hybrid shells made of birch and maple. The birch outer layers provide clarity and attack, while the maple middle layer adds warmth and volume. This combination delivers quick response, dynamic playability, and a powerful punch that cuts through any style of music. With clear projection, the Armory drums are an excellent choice for both live performance and studio work. The innovative SONIClear Bearing Edge improves head-to-shell contact, resulting in a balanced, natural sound with accentuated low mids and easier tunability. Low frequencies are clearer and more present, giving the set added warmth and depth. This technology saves time when tuning and allows beginners and semi-professionals to optimize their sound effortlessly.

The SONIClear Suspension System, derived from the high-end Saturn series, ensures that the toms can vibrate freely without resonance being dampened by the hardware. Sprung floor tom legs further support natural sustain. Combined with robust chrome hardware and double-layered Remo heads, the Armory Set is built for demanding use. The 14" x 5.5" steel Tomahawk snare drum completes the set with a powerful, cutting sound that perfectly complements any setup.
