Teisco EP-9T Electric Guitar (1960s - White)

Who ordered banana pudding? 

Here for sale is a stunning Teisco EP-9 Hollowbody electric guitar.  Other than a few weather checking lines in the finish, and the occasional small ding, this thing is in immaculate shape. Looks mostly case kept. I have only seen maybe one other one in white - super rare color on this guy. 

This guitar has an adjustable bridge, so the action is set nice and low. Really a smooth player. It also sounds amazing - a very clear and shimmery tone. The hollowbody construction pairs wonderfully with the old school single coil pickups. The electronics all work, though the switches aren't as responsive and stiff as they used to be, they still hold the pups on no problem. Floppy flapper switches is a pretty common problem on these old Japanese guitars, which is why you don't see flappers used all that often. I rebuilt the tremolo with a reproduction spring, so it is very responsive.

As always, we cleaned it up, polished the finish, flushed the electronics, changed the strings and set the action low and smooth. This guitar has no case or bag, but I pack my guitars up tight and insure every package for the full purchase amount.
