About this listing
A Zildjian Hi-Hat from the '60s Although all logos and markings have completely worn away, based on the appearance of the grinding, this pair of A Zildjian hi-hats is believed to date from the 1960s. Both the top and bottom cymbals are on the thinner side, and the surfaces appear to have been polished quite heavily. While it has the bright tone typical of A Zildjian, it also has a calm and refined resonance. Although they show signs of heavy use, there is no significant warping or damage, and the sound is excellent. This is a hi-hat with a rich, distinctive character that modern A-series hi-hats simply cannot replicate.
