Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us—that’s why we protect your information with best-in-class technology and a team dedicated to keeping your info safe. At the same time, we need to gather data to provide you with the best possible Reverb experience. Below, we detail how we keep your data secure while also enhancing your time on the site.

1. Introduction

Reverb.com, LLC, its affiliated companies (“Reverb” or “we” or “us”) and the associated websites were formed to create a community for musicians, collectors, enthusiasts, dealers and the just-plain-curious to gather in a marketplace fully dedicated to buying and selling instruments, gear, and equipment. Therefore, the privacy of all of our members, visitors, and stakeholders (“you”, “your”, “User”) - your privacy - is something we take extremely seriously.  This policy details how we treat the personal information that we collect, what settings we provide for you to control how your information is used on Reverb, and how you can contact us with any questions or concerns.

This Policy describes the types of personal information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit reverb.com or any affiliated websites (collectively, “Website”) directly and via the Reverb Mobile Apps ("Apps") and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that personal information. It also applies to personal information we collect: (a) in email, text, and other electronic messages between you and this Website; (b) through mobile and desktop applications, which provide dedicated non-browser-based interaction between you and this Website (including the Reverb App); (c) when you interact with our advertising and applications on third-party websites and services, if those applications or advertising include links to this policy; and (d) through any other sources associated with the Website or Apps. We'll refer to the Website, the Apps, anything related to the same, and our other services as the "Services." The data controller responsible for your personal information is Reverb.com, LLC, an Illinois Limited Liability Company.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, this Policy does not apply to information collected by: (a) us offline; or (b) by any third party, including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or on the Website.

If you provide your information to such third parties in connection with your use of the Services, different practices may apply to the use or disclosure of the information that you provide to them. While Reverb requires these third parties to follow Reverb’s privacy and security requirements, Reverb does not control the privacy or security policies of such third parties. To the full extent applicable in your country, Reverb is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of these sellers, API users, or other websites on the internet, even those linked to or from the Services. We encourage you to read the privacy policies and ask questions of third parties before you disclose your personal information to them. For the purposes of European law, these sellers, third party providers, and API users are independent controllers of data, which means that they are responsible for providing and complying with their own policies relating to any personal information they obtain in connection with the Services.
