Vintage electric guitar and amplifier equipment vendor for Marshall, Vox, Gibson, Fender, Traynor, Supro, Harmony, Silvertone, Mesa Boogie, Ampeg, Gretsch, Orange. I have a passion for vintage equipment that was made in the days when quality workmanship was the norm and guitars and amps were made in North America and UK by skilled craftsman who took pride in what they created and built. Amplifier Restorations and repairs are performed by a talented and highly competent amplifier technician (who is also a killer guitar player and passionate vintage amplifier aficionado) who I have worked with for over 8 years. I strive to offer high quality, clearly described and honestly represented gear to ensure my customers are satisfied with their purchase. My preference tends towards original, unmodded guitar amplifiers, however, if older amps require newer parts that are required to function properly (caps, grounded cord, new speaker, or recone, etc.). I have the repairs done properly and disclose what was done to the best of my ability. I package gear extremely well, ship quickly and communicate effectively and honestly. I ship primarily to USA destinations; I only ship amps and guitars via DHL insured as in my experience they offer the absolute best service and value and they insure their deliveries (I will ship some small, low value items such as pedals and parts via USPS and Canada Post).
Shipping Policy
I will ship with tracking to the continental United States and Canada. I will quote shipping based on actual ship to address provided by buyer. International shipments may incur additional charges.

General Terms
Items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.
Special Conditions
Orders damaged in shipping: receiver must report damage to Tru North Music withing 48 hours of receipt of goods and include pictures and written details of damages and provide an estimate for repair of goods from a commercial musical instrument repair shop or store. Pictures are really important as they provide evidence of damages to the insurance company; pictures of the carton/box, if it is damaged, should be taken as well. Shipments from Tru North Music to USA destinations are shipped insured for damages and/or loss incurred in shipping and damaged goods will be either repaired, or reimbursed for payment in full if repair estimate exceeds value of goods. Damaged goods are nit to be shipped back to Tru North without authorization and shipper is responsible for shipping costs for return of damaged goods to Tru North Music. The intent of Tru North Music is to ensure that buyers are satisfied with their purchases and should damage occur in shipping that may reasonably be repaired, the goods are to be repaired to buyers satisfaction and costs of repair are covered by insurance. Excessive damage (damages that repair exceeds value of goods): value of goods will be covered by insurance as the item will be written off as un repairable and refund will be issued to cover cost of goods.
