Shipping Policy

Topshelf Instruments is located in downtown Hobart, Australia, but the majority of our customers live elsewhere, so we’re well and truly in the habit of packing and sending instruments and accessories all over the nation and the globe. Here’s a little run-down on how we ship orders out.

Our flat shipping rate categories are based on physical weight and volumetric weight in line with how freight companies quote us:

Post-A :: Guitar strings, bass drum patches, etc.
Post-B :: Most guitar pedals, straps, cables, bass strings, etc.
Post-C :: Larger guitar pedals, small cymbals, etc.
Post-D :: Small pedal boards, crash cymbals, hi-hats, etc.
Post-E :: Modellers, big pedal boards, small practice amps and heads, snare drums, ride cymbals, etc.
Post-F :: Guitars, basses, moderately lightweight amps and heads, small cabs, hard cases, etc.
Post-G :: Amps, cabs, drum kits, etc.

We try to price things sharply rather than at the top of the market, so generally we don't entertain offers; However, we may be able to get the shipping cost down if it helps make the dream come true. Please don't hesitate to drop us a line!
