General Terms
Items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.
Special Conditions
Often, as a cause of circumstances involving the replacement and rotation of inventory; or, stipulations enacted upon us, as distributors, by our suppliers; unless a carrier-recorded occurence of "damage in transit", and/or an oversight on our part, and/or an item is mis-shipped (completely incongruent with associated listing) due to a "picking-error", and/or an unintentional-misrepresentation or misidentification of an item occurs, once an item is sold, we typically have no option but to require the institution of such a policy which requires our collection of restocking charges against all items returned outside of the aforementioned conditions.
Additionally, outside of the aforementioned conditions, the return of any items consisting wholely or in-part of any electronic components, circuitry, switches, functions, wiring, transmitters, pcb's, receivers, connectors or function thereof are strictly prohibited due to the fragility, susceptibility and corruptability of such items to short-circuit as a cause of incorrect use, misuse, improper implementation and/or incompatible connections/components/peripherals typically being the source cause of consequential and, potentially, catastrophic failures within related circuitry and with little or no evidence of such an unintended, and often unrecognized even, detrimental failure having occured.
It is not within our means to be required or expected to diagnose and then replace or repair any system or component of such an item as any belonging to a category congruent with those aforementioned electronic devices or components thereof and to then recycle/resell that product as anything other than a damaged, devalued, repaired or other-than as-originally-furnished by TTH in verified, fully-functioning to manufacturerer's specifications, condition to any of our highly valued future or returning customers because we have taken a risk in accepting the return of a defected electronics-containing-item and then forwarded such an item on to the next unsuspecting customer; whom, instead of enjoying his or her new acquisition, is now faced with, potentially, more problems than simply receiving a defective item. Therefore, any and all such items we sell, having arrived to us as either, never used or, alternately, having been completely circuit/function tested by us and assured to be in a condition that is congruent with a manufacturer's specifications for their intended functions, such a policy will apply.
Finally, due to the associated expenses and logistics relative to the buying and selling of products, it is ultimately with your, our beloved customers, best interests and overall expenses, at front-of-mind, when we are unfortunately forced to implement such policies; without which, we would certainly be forced to increase our prices, effecting everyone.
That, having been conveyed, if we are able to make any exception at any juncture, based upon special or pre-negotiated circumstances or via means of supplier allowances/exceptions, we certainly will make any and all efforts to do so.
Ten-Tone Hammers wants everyone to walk away happy when it comes to our interactions with one another! We understand that life happens. However, being the locally owned and operated organization that we are, we simply could not afford to offer the items and prices that we do if we had it any other way. We hope you understand and look forward to only smiles!
