Most items I sell are moderately neglected by someone- but without damage that affects playability, as I'm not a carpenter or machinist- and lovingly and painstakingly refurbished back to 100% sound and performance quality, and in as nice cosmetic quality as possible, by me. I do not refinish drums & hardware- just disassemble, clean/polish, remove rust and other crud, ensure parts are in perfect working order by either repairing or replacing when necessary, and reassemble, ready to make their joyful racket for their new owners again.
Occasionally, I post items for sale which need no such refurbishing.
