Shipping Policy

The Guitar Store has over 20 years of professional experience in shipping musical equipment. Each and every order is packed with the customer in mind. We ship all orders via USPS, UPS or FedEx after payment has cleared. If you will not be home during normal delivery hours, we do recommend that you have it sent to your place of work or another safe address. We require signatures on all overs over $250 unless otherwise discussed via Reverb Messages and handled before checkout. Our time is valuable andd there will be an extra charge of $50 to buyers who are unable to be available for signature deliveries resulting in a return to sender. We can not change your address after the sale. Reverb does not allow this. All orders are packed in a professional manner by our experienced staff. Tracking numbers will be provided and automatically uploaded within this timeframe. We are not responsible for any import tariffs or duty fees that may be imposed. Returns will be subject to a restocking fee equal to the amount we spend on shipping the product to you. If you have any special shipping needs please ask before you purchase.

2 Day listing shippers! This is a feature that means two days will be the best scenario. Note that holidays and weekends are not business days and are not included in this two day option. Holiday weeks around Christmas and New Years will be strange so if you really believe in 2 day shipping you better call us before you order as these weeks are exempt from normal policy. We are not charging any extra for the faster shipments though we do pay more to send your item this way. We are not responsible for any delays after your item has left our store. Snowstorms, hurricanes, "acts of God" or confusion at your delivery location may occur. You need to mellow out if this freaks you out to the point it ruins your day.

International Buyers! Take note that we will only be able to track your order to the point it leaves the United States. Once it leaves the our store and is in the possession of the USPS or other designated shipper we will not be responsible for delivery. Please understand the risk once it enters your country will be yours.

Winter Shipping Policy Disclaimer for Nitrocellulose-Finished Guitars
At Quimper Sound Records & Guitars, we take every precaution to ensure your instrument arrives safely and in perfect condition. For guitars with nitrocellulose finishes, we may delay shipping depending on the temperature and specific customer circumstances.

Extreme temperature fluctuations during transit can cause damage to nitro finishes, including cracking or other issues. To minimize this risk, we will wait until the weather permits safe shipping conditions.
