The Beginning of This Collector’s Journey

I started playing guitar at the age of 14, beginning with classical guitar and staying in that world for years.
Then, at 18 years old, I bought my very first electric guitar — an Ibanez RG with a bright neon green pickguard.

The funny thing is…
I didn’t buy it because of the specs.
I didn’t know the model.
I didn’t even care how it sounded.

I bought it simply because I thought the pickguard looked cool. Well… I was just a kid back then. :)

As a kid who didn’t grow up wealthy, I used to stand in guitar shops staring at all the beautiful instruments hanging on the walls, dreaming that maybe one day I could own one of them.

From that day on, I slowly became a collector. Some guitars were bought new. Some were bought used.
Some were bought to be played. Some were bought for the memories they carried.

And honestly… some were probably bought just to admire and smell the wood more than to actually play them.
Over the years, my collection kept growing. Sometimes I feel a little selfish keeping these guitars quietly locked away, letting their voices sleep in silence instead of roaring through amps and inspiring music out in the world.

But I think the time has finally come. (Also… my house is literally running out of space. Haha.)

Some of these guitars deserve a new chapter. They deserve to be played on stage again, used to create new songs, and become part of someone else’s story.

So if one of my guitars finds its way to you, I hope you’ll love it as much as I did.
