While I don't sell gear as often as I used to, I've been at the buying and selling game for the last 3 decades between small, local musical instrument stores to big box chains. Part of this process, for me, is understanding that 'time = money.' Therefore, I like to sell my items below market and maintain high buyer satisfaction. Because the longer I hang onto items for sale, the more I lose in the long run. Plus, without the trust of my buyers, the longer my listings will age. Besides all that logistical nonsense no one really cares about, I always enjoy being instrumental in someone getting the gear they always wanted, between their first instrument to their bucket list guitar.
