As a young player nearly thirty years ago, big corporate retailers did not exist. Buying my first custom guitar was a memorable personal experience between me and Kevin, a small shop owner in Montpelier, Vermont. His store was a gathering place for players, managed by musicians, where the finest guitars, amps and accessories could be explored. Kevin was passionate about his trade and knew every intimate detail of each instrument in his store. For years, that experience has fueled my passion to create a similar musicians haven. Shipping Policy
We are open Tuesday-Saturday from 10am until 6pm CDT.
Any order placed before 3pm CDT Tuesday through Saturday is processed for shipment the same day. Orders placed Sunday-Monday will be processed for shipment the following Tuesday.
For Free Shipping items, Effects pedals and small goods items are generally shipped via USPS Priority Mail or USPS Ground Advantage, and Guitars and Amplifiers are generally shipped via UPS Ground.
Due to our central location in the middle of the US, most orders will be delivered within 1-3 days delivery time.
Other shipping methods are available (at an additional cost), including next day air.
For fraud prevention, will only ship to confirmed delivery addresses for your PayPal account, or the confirmed billing address for your credit card account.

General Terms
Items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.

Our highly knowledgeable sales staff is dedicated to helping you find the right gear, so please feel free to ask any and all questions about the item you are thinking of purchasing BEFORE you make your purchase so that we can do our best to help make sure it is right for you and your needs. The Guitar Sanctuary does accept returns on NEW items as long as arrangements are made for such within 48 hours of purchase for in-store purchases, or within 48 hours of the time you take delivery of your order for online/phone orders with the following exceptions:
SALE Priced Items
Special Order Items (items that were not in stock, but rather ordered per the customers request and/or to the customer's specifications)
Items that involved a Trade at the time of the purchase
Items that were sold "AS-IS"
Items that were originally put on layaway
Microphones
Cables that have been removed from their original packaging
All returned items MUST be in the original condition and with all of the original packing (including owner’s manual, packaging, included accessories, warranty card, any other items that came with the item) and the warranty must not have been registered in order to qualify for a refund.

When shipping your return, be sure to:
Properly insure it for the full purchase price
Pack it in the same manner in which it was received
Do NOT write on the product boxes
For all returns the customer is responsible for all freight charges related to the order both ways (including the original shipping costs incurred by the store for "Free Shipping" items).
Guitars and effects pedals returned within the return policy period that meet the above criteria will not be subject to a restock fee.
Amplifiers and speaker cabinets returned within the return policy period that meet the above criteria will be subject to a 10% restock fee.
For ANY RETURN made at our discretion after 48 Hours The Guitar Sanctuary will charge a minimum 20% restocking fee for returned amplifiers and cabinets and a minimum 10% restocking fee for Guitars and effects pedals. The only exceptions are for products that are defective.
We understand that every return situation is different, so please feel free to contact our staff prior to your return with any issues you have so we can find the best resolution for everyone involved.
